We thoroughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and the wonderful evening meals prepared on site and served in the comfortable dining room of this modern farm home. The meals were different each of the four nights of our stay, and consisted on at least five delicious antipasta dishes, the pasta course, a meat course, assorted breads, a carafe of wine, bottled water, dessert, and coffee. Much of the food came from the vegetable gardens and chicken pens on the farm. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The grounds are lovely and the tennis court is first rate. The location was very convenient for a day trip to visit the ancient ruins at Paestum (about 30 minutes away), as well as a base for some genealogy research we were pursuing.

My family stayed at this hotel and we were very pleased with our accomodations as well as the wonderful staff, excellent food and very helpful Antonello & Lisa. We did not know what to see in that area and Antonello made excellent recomendations on what to see and where to go in that area. Very helpful to us! The breakfasts, lunches & dinners were fabulous, our compliments to the chef! I truely have "no complaints" and would highly recomend Mammarella Aguriturisimo to anyone traveling to the area. I hope to return soon. We are a family of five, two older children, 22 yrs & 16 yrs, our daughter is 6 yrs. The accomodations were perfect and very comfortable for our size family. Thank you Antonello & Lisa for a wonderful stay! The Berry Family

Very out in the country. Great people. Great area.
Hard to find if you don't speak Italian, have really good maps and a GPS. I had none of the above, but still found it.

The very authentic Italian dinner. The manager, Antonello, coming into town to find us when we got lost trying to find his place. Antonello did not charge us for the 2nd night when we unexpectedly checked out with no notice on the morning of the second day of our stay.
This is a farm and the animals there are suffering from extreme neglect. If you care about animals at all, you cannot stay there for it will break your heart. The dog is chained up and was wearing a chain collar so tight that it was cutting into his neck and was suffering from such flea problems that he was covered in sores. The horses were boney, thin and one was so unhappy he tried to bite and stomp you. I have owned horses all my life and this behavior only comes from an animal who has been abused. The chickens were in sad physical shape - lots of feathers missing. The rest were living in overcrowded conditions - ducks, goats and burros, I could not stay there and experience this neglect and suffering so we left immediately after breakfast after our first night there.

Dinners were amazing, lots of ethnic food from Italy. The food just kept coming and coming. Wish dinner started around 7 pm though, instead of closer to 9pm. Was so tired to be eating past 11 pm. Loved the countryside, beautiful. The host knew some English, helpful. Loved the older Italian farmhand?. A couple of goats had just been born, and he took my kids to show them, and a baby donkey. He made my kids very happy by showing them. This was their favorite part of the agriturismo. Even with the language barrier, he used charades to try to get his words across. He was great with the kids. Loved that I could bring my dogs too without a "pet fee". I would definitely go back for another stay. Liked that could pay with credit card.
Lateness of dinner, would like to begin eating at 7pm, not close to 9. Kind of seemed like the first night that we were served much slower than the Italians around us. Not quite sure what was up with that. Service was better the second night.

The property and farmhouse were gorgeous, and the staff incredibly gracious. This is a real, working farm, and the food served to guests is hyperlocal - the eggs, honey and vegetables were produced on the farm itself. The room was gorgeous and clean, with a view of the fields and gardens. A true paradise to be sure.
It's a little tough to find from the main road, so I recommend having a gps!

Lovely rural location with thriving gardens and orchards all around. Spotless room with spacious balcony.
My only complaint is that Mammarella was hard to find. Quite a bit off the beaten path.
